Mulling spices simmering over a wood burning fireplace. The comfort of ages in one night.
The Memory
The first year we move into our new house - we moved from the west side of Cleveland to the east- we realized the stark difference in precipitation: the Lake Effect had dumped three feet of snow on our new property, while our old house had a little rain and whatever snow we got never stuck. But what a winter wonderland! The crisp, clean, glistening snow hanging on the Hemlock trees out front; the steep hill in the back orchard begging for a sled; and the giant, almost full-wall windows letting in so much light that your soul feels like it's sunbathing.
We moved in on December 15th, ten days before Christmas and it was one of the best Christmases ever. My then 11 month old crawling on the hardwood floors and finding out we were having another on Christmas morning. This is when I knew we were finally where we belonged, we were home in our own Christmas Cottage.
The Inspiration
A Cottage Christmas was born from the comfort found in small, familiar spaces—the kind where the walls remember lives lived and the hardwood floors creak with well-worn footsteps. It is a celebration of warmth made visible, of handmade gifts and candlelight dinners, of pausing long enough to feel joy settle deep. This scent captures that sacred pause between bustle and peace, where Christmas is not an event, but a lived reminder of true Love.
Fragrance Notes
Cinnamon Clove • Orange Peel • Sugared Cranberry
Mood: Comforting, nostalgic, joyful
Best For: Evenings by the fire, gift wrapping, quiet moments between gatherings
Behind the Pour
Each candle is hand-poured with pure beeswax and a crackling wood wick to echo the sound of a hearth fire. The aroma blooms softly, blending citrus and spice with the sweet tang of deep cranberry. No two pours are identical—each one carries its own quiet fingerprint of care.
Pairings
Pairs beautifully with: Heirloom Hearth and Capo D’Anno
Together, they form a trio of warmth, reflection, and new beginnings.
Reflection
“And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us.” — John 1:14
Christmas, in its truest form, is not found in grandeur, but in grace—the miracle of light entering the smallest of rooms. May your home be filled with warmth and light, and may each moment of stillness become its own song of joy.
